It's another yard sale!

    It's summer....and that means yard sale times!  What turns people on about yard sales?  I finally was involved in my community's yard sale earlier this month.  Vans, trucks, and carloads browsing through looking for some bargain! Lots of kiddies' clothes, rundown furniture, kithen items, lots of christmas decorations , including sparkly trees and bulbs , old books, jewelry...you name it!  It's amazing to see hoards of people looking at your unwanted stuff!  It was also interesting to see how items were displayed - in some way that would entice your wonderous gaze!  Some folks even had hotdogs and kraut!  We all know what happens then!  Sometimes you can't pass up a hotdog!  Real savvy!  Maybe..someone will buy a whole boxload of stuff then! Ha!  I actually felt somewhat emotional when over hearing how this certain person may like this picture and where she would hang it!  Someone will be happy with my used stuff!  Maybe this is why they go to yard sales.. to find some thing that will make the buyer or the receiver of a " rare" treasure  happy?  That day I made $6.00!  I didn't care about the money. I was satisfied that someone was happier with my used stuff!  So...keep on going to those yard sales!  Make somebody happy and make a few bucks. too!
