Are We Ready For Turkey?

Why are we drooling over the thought of those dinner table delights   ????   Is it the stuffing, the gravy, the pumpkin pie?  The warm familiar aroma seeping into your nostrils thrills those tastebuds!  We're tired of watching football!  The snack bowls are empty and it's soon time!  The table is set in holiday style.  At last the family sits down and all eyes gaze at the turkey platter.  AHHH.. Now someone asks why we are thankful?  Before your fork is lifted think about it.  Then dig in!  Enjoy Thanksgiving!

What a wonderful day!  My sister and I spent quality girl time!  We walked the neighborhood and breathed in the fresh air until the knees were sore and the sweat started trickling down the brow!  Time for a cold one!  Ice water hit the spot!  After sitting and cooling off it was time to find our dinner destination.  After travelng a good 20 miles through some scenic towns our tummies were hungry and there was no such destination any longer!  The Indian restaurant was now a sports bar!  HA!  Our palletts wre disappointed!  As we all know there are no shortages of eateries and lo and behold we discovered Snuzzles!  The chocolate frozen drinks were delicious!  We also ordered  The popular sandwiches which were also tasty!  It was a great find!  Our tummies were full!  The sunset was beautiful on the drive home.  What a perfect ending for an almost perfect day!  Thanks sis!

Daylight Savings what?

   Is it better to   waken in darkness or try to stay awake when blackness surrounds you and you don't want to be a couch potato after 4:00PM? And how about saving on fuel when we have to use more energy to see and to stay warm when the sun shines on us less? I don't understand where the logic comes from? Have we all gone batty? Then there is the SADD Syndrome...it's hard to be happy when we're freezing in the dark!

Roaming around the Reading area we happened upon this Chinese Pagoda!  Why would anyone build such a

wonderous edifice in the heart of a once booming industrial area? Anyhow...it makes for a great place to take pics and you do get a beautiful view of Reading.  Spending time with my mom and dad was splendid!  I guess you could compare the experiences- they were both unforgettable!  I am so greatful to be able to share such findings with my parents and that they can still navigate alongside me! Aren't they a great looking couple?   Hey dad....I got you to smile!  We had a great time!
